
Training Pitch Hire & Changing Rooms – Terms & Conditions
This agreement sets out the requirements for the use of Lakeside Sports Ground for 3G and mini pitch hire and use of changing rooms during the hire.
The hirer will be responsible for any claim for injury or damage to persons, property or loss of property which may result from the hire or use of the facilities. The hirer will also be responsible for any costs incurred as a result of damage caused through misuse of any of the facilities.
Bookings
Bookings can be made by email lakesidesportsground95@gmail.com , by calling 01375 377778 or 07729 094468 or via our online booking service and can be for any number of weeks subject to availability. They can be for full pitch or half pitch subject to availability. The mini soccer pitch will be for full pitch only up to the age of under 11 and again subject to availability.
Payments
Payments for these bookings will be paid for via the online system. Regular bookings will be via invoice. Payment of the invoice must be made in full within 28 days in one payment otherwise it will incur a 10% surcharge. The rate with the surcharge added will be stated on the invoice. Payment on the day is only available by arrangement with the Facility Manager. If booked via our booking service then the booking must be paid for at time of booking.
Cancelling Slots
To cancel a slot at no charge a minimum of 48 hours’ notice must be given by either email lakesidesportsground95@gmail.com or calling 01375 377778 or 07729 094468. If you regularly cancel a slot it may be withdrawn. If you book via our online booking system the same procedure applies.
Termination of Hire (Regular Users)
Regular hirers may relinquish the right to use the allocated pitch and facilities at any time on presentation of written notice to Lakeside Sports Ground. No refund will be made in respect of fees paid in relation to the hire.
Lakeside Sports Ground reserves the right to terminate any agreement with the hirer, if the hirer breaches any rules or defaults on any payments outstanding.
Arrival & Departure
The hirer on arrival must go into the clubhouse and sign in. Do not go to the pitch until you have signed in. Report to clubhouse to get logged out when leaving.
Grass Pitches
The pitch will be maintained to an acceptable standard for training with the grass cut and other maintenance carried out during the season like rolling and fertilising. Prior to the grass cutting the pitch is checked for any objects/debris however it is the responsibility of the hirer to check the pitch prior to the start of the session.
Ensure that you do not enter onto the pitch until your allocated time and you leave at the end of your allocated time.
Lakeside Sports Ground will provide goals with nets. Goals should be used in a safe manner at all times. To move the goals, lift the wheels and push into position and then lock the wheels down. Do not push or drag along the pitch with the wheels down. Also ensure they are not pulled along by the nets.
Ensure all rubbish is collected up and placed into the rubbish bins and not left lying around. Black sacks can be collected from the clubhouse to assist with this.
Failure to comply will result in a £50 fine being levied and if it persists the loss of the use of the pitch.
Spectators must remain behind the barriers at all times
3G Pitch
Lakeside Sports Ground reserves the right to cancel any booking at any time. This will be conveyed to the hirer as necessary.

Also ensure they are not pulled along by the nets. When the session is finished all goals must be put back on the tarmac areas and locked down as shown (use and storage of goals).
No smoking, vaping or chewing gum are permitted within the caged area. Only drinks in plastic bottles are permitted onto the pitch and food must be eaten in the spectator area and not on the pitch. No prams, buggies, scooters or bicycles are allowed onto the playing surface and should be left either in the spectator area or outside the cage.
Only moulded and astro turf boots are permitted and they must be clean and free of mud (no trainers, metal or screw in studs are allowed) this includes managers and coaches. Attached is a copy of permitted footwear and this is also displayed by the entrance to the pitch. Random footwear inspections may be carried out and the session stopped until the requirements are met. Ensure all rubbish is collected up and placed into the rubbish bins and not left lying around. Black sacks can be collected from the clubhouse to assist with this.

Fire
If the fire alarm sounds, go to the gate in the far right hand side of the 3G pitch if using the 3G pitch otherwise the Fire Assembly point which is on the corner of the 3G and next to the entrance to the grass pitch.
Changing Rooms
Changing rooms are available but all belongings must be taken out and either put on the side of the pitch or stored in their cars and is the responsibility of the hirer. At the end of the slot a changing room again will be available for you to change and shower. Changing rooms must be left clean and tidy at the end of each use, they must be swept out and all rubbish must be placed in the bins provided. It is the responsibility of the hirer to ensure that the changing room is left clean and tidy. Hirers should report unclean or damage to fixtures or fittings to changing rooms before using them. This is very important as it protects each hirer from accusations of damage or misuse caused by others. Boots MUST NOT to be cleaned in showers or hand basins or be banged against walls in changing rooms or any other part of the facility. Failure to comply will result in a £50 charge or the cost of the repair being levied for the offence and if it persists the loss of the slot.
The changing rooms will be checked by Lakeside Sports Ground staff afterwards and photographs taken as evidence when necessary.
Car Parking
Please park with consideration for other users and in the marked bays and be courteous to the car wash staff. Do not park on the hashed areas. When the main car park is full please use the overflow.
Clubhouse/Kitchen
The clubhouse which contains a licensed bar and kitchen are available for use before and after your hire subject to opening times.
No football boots to be worn or kit bags taken into the clubhouse.
Some Site Rules
No smoking including e-cigarettes are permitted within the building or within the cage of the 3G pitch.
No dogs allowed on site
No drugs permitted on site
Only alcohol purchased at the bar may be consumed on site
Ensure children are supervised at all times
We will not tolerate any physical or verbal abuse towards our staff
Players/Coaches and Managers must use the toilets in the changing rooms and not the ones in the clubhouse. If you want to use the toilets in the clubhouse then you must remove your boots prior to entering.
